Awesome article 🖥
Conor Dewey's Big List of Data Science Interview Resources is available here. It's quite comprehensive!
Awesome package, plugin, or extension 🔌
The jupyterlab_spellchecker extension for Jupyter Lab automatically spell checks your Markdown cells! It highlights suspected misspelled words. I find it invaluable. Install it with
jupyter labextension install @ijmbarr/jupyterlab_spellchecker
Awesome book for learning SQL 📖
If you or someone you know is looking to learn SQL, I just released my Memorable SQL book. My research shows SQL is a language that's sticking around for the long haul. It teaches you SQL using PostgreSQL and pgAdmin! Here's a special 20% off code just for DataAwesome subscribers. Just input DataAwesomeSQL at checkout. As always, I would love to hear any constructive feedback - it helps future readers!
A whole bunch of awesome keyboard shortcuts ⌨️
Jupyter Lab is the supported way to access Jupyter notebooks in 2020. Most of the keyboard shortcuts are the same between the two Jupyter projects, but there are a few differences. If you want the cheat sheet to Jupyter Lab shortcut commands, check out my GitHub Gist here. 🚀

What I've been working on 🛠
Pandas 1.0 dropped a little over a week ago. String data types, nullable integers, and pd.NA, oh my! I walk through the important changes in this article. 🐼
I took a look at whether PyTorch is catching TensorFlow in this article. It's interesting to watch these two deep learning frameworks evolve and compete cooperatively! 🏇🏇
I'm putting the finishing touches on the pre-release of my Memorable Pandas book. It includes pandas 1.0 changes, so tune in to make sure you don't miss it! 📻
Awesome video tutorial 📹
This video of Monica Puerto's web scraping tutorial with the requests library and Beautiful Soup is very nice. It's from PyData DC a little over a year ago. Which leads me to a new awesome thing to highlight...
Awesome Conference 🎫
All the PyData conferences I've been to have been excellent! PyData Miami is coming up in April, followed by London in May, and Amsterdam in June. I highly recommend attending if you get the chance!
